About Me
My journey into UX began during my computer science degree, where a collaborative project with a design class sparked my passion. Captivated by the designers’ process, I realized this field perfectly aligned with my creative nature and attention to detail. Since then, I’ve pursued continuous learning, earning over 13 certifications, attending 100+ webinars and 7+ conferences, and freelancing for small businesses.
This led to an opportunity with STG as a UX Contractor at Modere, where I streamlined workflows and championed user empathy. Three months later, I became the Lead UX Designer, revolutionizing strategic processes, boosting team efficiency, and growing UX maturity.
Seven months after that, I was hired as Modere’s first certified Lead UX Designer, mentoring my team, managing projects, improving accessibility, and collaborating on innovative features. I also contributed to a re-platformed e-commerce site and a new B2B back-office app.
Outside of work, I’m a book lover and photography enthusiast. I enjoy quiet days with my pets, exploring local farmers' markets, and providing critical commentary with my friends during TV marathons of nerdy movies and shows.
Whether I’m refining a digital product or capturing the beauty of nature through my camera lens, I strive to bring creativity, empathy, and a touch of magic to everything I do.
Big Commerce MVP 2nd Runner Up
Modere underwent a significant project to replatform their shopping website with Big Commerce. The purpose of this was to give a fresh look to the main face of Modere, and to solve a lot of core issues with the old site such as the checkout software.
This award recognized the top three main contributors to the success of the global project.
